$1 increase after training

This is a great outdoor career opportunity with a 35 year Chico company looking to fill a permanent, year round, full-time position.

This is not a landscape maintenance position; we do not mow or prune, etc. Our Turf Technicians specialize in lawn and ornamental applications for our residential and commercial clients, including fertilization, broadleaf and weed grass control, pre-emergents, insecticides, fungicides, and diagnostics. We're looking for a hard working, honest, self-directed employee to be trained for this position. No experience needed, we offer on the job training.

The job includes heavy lifting, lots of walking, and working in all weather. You must have a CA drivers license as well as a clean DMV record.

Pay: $15/hour starting, with a $1 raise after you complete training. Training usually takes 1 month. In addition we offer regular raises for performance as well as matching the minimum wage increase schedule, with potential year end performance bonuses.

Our Turf technicians can earn 40k-50k per year in time.
