Mow Height
Keep your mow height tall, ideally mowing the blades to a height of 3”-4”, or on the highest setting that your mower deck adjusts to. A tall mow height encourages deeper root growth, which allows for a greater reservoir from which your lawn can draw water. A taller mow height also better shades the soil, which increases water retention and reduces evaporation.
